Welcome to your personalized productivity report

If there’s one thing you can be sure of as a business owner, it is that you’re never going to have more than 24 hours in your day.

You have unique skills and offerings you want to serve your customers. But unless you set the right goals, get organized, and prioritize your time and tasks appropriately, you’re going to waste a lot of time hustling without success.

Your ability to build a business that brings you the success and freedom you’re looking for boils down to your ability to manage the precious time you have productively.

This personalized report has been created based on your Productivity Type Assessment (PTA). It gives you targeted advice on your strengths and areas for improvement to become more productive and effective as a business owner.

Your productivity type: The Polisher

The Polishers are known for the top-notch quality of their work. They like to set ambitious goals and work towards them according to a carefully created plan. The Polishers have very high standards for their work and always want to make sure what they are delivering meets or exceeds expectations, even if it means spending some extra hours or days on it.

Your strong areas

You are highly intentional with your use of time and do everything to avoid wasting it. You know that to effectively grow your business, you need to set challenging goals. Your monthly or quarterly business goals are a key tool for you in prioritizing your daily work. This helps you avoid spending too much time with lower-priority “busy work” (such as responding to emails and DMs) or getting distracted by “shiny objects” that don’t have relevance to your big goals.

You have a very structured approach to managing your business. You understand the value of planning and want to spend some time in advance to make sure you are taking the right path towards your business goals. Thus, you are rarely caught off-guard and are able to approach most situations well-prepared and in a timely manner. You have set up systems for your business, which makes it easier for you to keep track of tasks and information effectively.

You have very high standards for your work. Even when you’re tight on time, you choose not to compromise on the quality of your service and products. Your clients value you for going above and beyond to bring them best results

Watch out for these

Although having clear goals are critical to keeping your business on a success track, remember to maintain a degree of flexibility as situations evolve. Regularly review your business goals and projects to see if they are still serving you best. Don’t blame yourself for having to make adjustments – staying nimble is not a failure. Also, avoid striving for too many goals simultaneously. Rather than burning yourself out by spreading too thin, be deliberate about which goals you choose to deprioritize.

Watch out for excessive planning and organizing. Even though systems and processes are necessary for managing your business effectively, there is a limit to how heavy or elaborate they should be. It should be aligned with the complexity and importance of the project or area of business. Make sure tweaking your business systems doesn’t end up stealing too much of your productive time.

You have a tendency towards perfectionism, which can seriously hamper your business success. As a business owner, you will always find more work on your plate than there is time for, and trying to do it all too perfectly is a sure way to crash and burn. Instead, identify those work areas where high standards are truly an advantage and lower the bar for everything else – or better yet, outsource them.
